Bob will share the stories and memories behind many of his detailed illustrations\, offering a warm glimpse into what life in Wausau was like during those decades. Perfect for people who grew up in the area or simply enjoy a little hometown history.\nBob Becker owned and operated Becker Communications Inc. in Schofield for 54 years. Starting in 1968 as a film producer and commercial photographer\, the company grew to provide a wide range of marketing and communication services for customers throughout the United States and parts of the world. Having grown up in Wausau in the 1950s and witnessed its profound changes\, in 2018\, he began creating artistic scenes depicting many street corners as they appeared in that era. To date he has done 24 different scenes with no end in sight.\nThis presentation is free and open to all.
