• To educate and share information and resources with members and the general public concerning the value of historic preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of significant and useful older buildings and homes.
• To represent the opinions and values of the membership and board of directors in positively promoting an interest in building preservation, restoration and rehabilitation to the general public, property owners and government agencies.
• To encourage and facilitate local participation in the identification, preservation, restoration and rehabilitation of the structures, sites and districts which are an important part of Wausau’s heritage.
• To provide a vehicle for cooperation and dialogue between individuals interested in building preservation, restoration and rehabilitation and other individuals, organizations or agencies with different interests and views.
