QR Code Coolness

A new project by EGL student Matt Raguse has given people a whole new way to explore the history of Wausau using QR Codes. His first QR Code was posted on the 400 Block in the new event posting sign.

When the QR code is scanned a person is given a glimpse of a location’s past as they see the location’s present view. All that is needed to check it out  is a free QR Code scanning app downloaded to your smartphone.

This is the beginning of his project, which will eventually include Barker and Stewart Island, Woodson House, and Yawkey House. Many more sites will be included as the project expands.
